This registration form is for Carrots — that is to say, people who would like to use the site but aren’t associated with a Market or Farm/Vendor. As a carrot, you can view matchmaker profiles and participate in Workshops, but you won’t be able to create your own profile. If you later want to change to a Vendor or Market just contact us.

Greenbeltmarkets.ca, the website of the Greenbelt Farmers’ Market Network (GbFMN) and the Market Matchmaker are offered to you based on agreement to the following terms and conditions. These Terms of Use may be subject to change, addition or deletion at any time. Any such change will be posted on this page.

Your registration and use of the Market Matchmaker constitutes your agreement to these terms, conditions and notices.

Defame, abuse, harass, stalk, threaten or otherwise violate the legal rights (such as rights of privacy and publicity) of others.
Publish, post, upload, distribute or disseminate any inappropriate, profane, defamatory, infringing, obscene, indecent or unlawful topic, name, material or information.
Upload files that contain viruses, corrupted files, or any other similar software or programs that may damage the operation of another’s computer.
Conduct or forward pyramid schemes or chain letters.
Download any file posted on the site that you know, or reasonably should know, cannot be legally distributed in such manner.

GbFMN has no obligation to monitor the Market Matchmaker. However, GbFMN reserves the right to review materials posted to and to remove any materials in its sole discretion. GbFMN reserves the right to terminate your access to the Market Matchmaker at any time without notice for any reason whatsoever.

GbFMN reserves the right at all times to disclose any information as necessary to satisfy any applicable law, regulation, legal process or governmental request, or to edit, refuse to post or to remove any information or materials, in whole or in part.

Always use caution when giving out any personally identifying information about yourself. GbFMN does not control or endorse the content, messages or information found in the Market Matchmaker and, therefore, GbFMN specifically disclaims any liability with regard to the Market Matchmaker and any actions resulting from use of it. Users are not authorized GbFMN spokespersons, and their views do not necessarily reflect those of GbFMN.

By posting, uploading, inputting, providing or submitting information to the Market Matchmaker you are granting GbFMN, its employees, contractors and funders permission to use your information without limitation, including the rights to: copy, distribute, transmit, publicly display, publicly perform, reproduce, edit, translate and reformat your Submission; and to publish your name in connection with your Market Matchmaker profile.

You acknowledge and agree that GbFMN shall have no liability associated with or arising from your failure to maintain accurate contact or other information, including, but not limited to, your failure to receive critical information about the Market Matchmaker.

LIABILITY DISCLAIMER

THE INFORMATION, SOFTWARE, PRODUCTS, AND SERVICES INCLUDED IN OR AVAILABLE THROUGH THE GbFMN WEB SITE AND THE MARKET MATCHMAKER MAY INCLUDE INACCURACIES OR TYPOGRAPHICAL ERRORS.

GbFMN AND/OR ITS FUNDERS AND SUPPLIERS MAKE NO REPRESENTATIONS ABOUT THE SUITABILITY, RELIABILITY, AVAILABILITY, TIMELINESS, AND ACCURACY OF THE INFORMATION, PRODUCTS AND SERVICES LISTED ON THE greenbeltmarkets.ca WEB SITE FOR ANY PURPOSE. IF YOU ARE DISSATISFIED WITH ANY PORTION OF THE GBFMN WEB SITE OR THE MARKET MATCHMAKER, OR WITH ANY OF THESE TERMS OF USE, YOUR SOLE AND EXCLUSIVE REMEDY IS TO DISCONTINUE USING greenbeltmarkets.ca AND THE MARKET MATCHMAKER.

CANCELLATION

You can cancel your membership at any time by accessing the ‘Account Settings’ Web Page within greenbeltmarkets.ca.

GbFMN can, at its sole discretion, cancel or suspend your membership in whole or in part for any reason, including, without limitation, the non-compliance with these Terms of Use.

PRIVACY

By accepting these Terms of Use, you are giving permission to GbFMN to publicly display your business information on the greenbeltmarkets.ca Web Site, and acknowledging that your business information will be searchable via the Internet.

GOVERNING LAW

The laws of the province of Ontario and the laws of Canada shall govern these Terms of Use as well as any use of the greenbeltmarkets.ca Web Site.
